Yellow & White Wedding Cake

I really liked this cake. It was for my cousin. It was made in Alabama. It is made with some of my favorite colors. It has fantasy flowers. It was the cake that helped welcome a really sweet Southern Belle in to our family. Thanks for allowing me to make this cake for you two and have a small part in your special day. That's the big finished piece for the birthday cake. It was so stinking adorable, we didn't get a picture of it. Cute cakes are very distracting, just so you know.

Orchid Wedding Order

Gorgeous brides and gorgeous orders. This is the tough life of a CH&L Baker. We get to meet with the most creative and sweet brides a cake shop could ask for. This order was no exception. I simply adore orchids and I am thrilled with how this turned out!

A few cakes

There are some weeks we cannot post every picture. These past few weeks have been some of those weeks. We've sent out quite a few cakes like these. Cake Nation, you make our hearts happy. We couldn't do what we do without you!

Groom's Cake

This cake was a ton of fun to make. It was for, Wade, who loves to hunt ducks. Never mind that I made a pistol instead of a hunting gun. I'm just a city girl for cryin' out loud!

Poured Sugar Tiles and our fantasy flower

Lovely topper for a cupcake wedding. These are poured sugar tiles circling the cake with a fondant fantasy flower in the front. I really love the look of this cake. Very modern and very elegant. Thanks for another amazing order, Cake Nation!

Here's another of our signature buttercream cakes. If you call in to the shop and ask for this design, be sure to say you want our rustic buttercream look. So romantic, isn't it?

Pink Elephant Birthday Cake

Simple, adorable, and ultra cute. This is a remake of one of our designs from last year. I love the light pink and softness of the entire thing. Thanks for another great order, Cake Nation!

Brown and Orange 1st Birthday Cake

I really like the retro color polka dot theme and design on this cake. This base of this one is buttercream with fondant accents. SUPER cute for a first birthday, if I do say so myself.

Our signature rustic buttercream

This is one of my favorite designs that we do. The rustic buttercream design is our signature buttercream design. This is a rich chocolate buttercream with a satin bow.

Tangled inspired cake

Okay, so zebra print, tractors, and Tangled inspired cakes are probably all in a tie for most requested cakes. I think this is our third tangled cakes in just a few weeks. This is a buttercream cake with all fondant accents. (The castle is not edible)

Tractor Cake

This cake is quickly becoming one of our most requested cake designs. This one is really cool because it is for a cake client's 18th birthday! How fun! Plus, pink and green? Total awesomeness. 

Book Cakes

I really like this idea for a bridal shower cake. The first book is the beginning of their story and the last book is the beginning of their forever story. How romantically sweet, eh? These books are all fondant except for the pages which are buttercream. 

ZEBRA!

This may be getting to be our signature design. We have at least 1 zebra print cake a weekend. Which you all know, does not break my heart. This one is a bit different because it is a buttercream cake with fondant accents! WOOT for having an awesome buttercream person!

Golf Themed Cake

I don't know what it is about sports themed cakes, but I just love making them. I think it's because the color green is somehow made in to most of them and that's my favorite color. I really liked how this one turned out. I kept looking at it and thinking, man, I wish I golfed. I want this for my birthday cake!

Old Farmstead inspired cake

I was more than stumped when this order came in. What in the heck could we do to impress the client. Sure, I can do kid themes, girly, beachy, romantic, rustic, and all kinds of traditional themes. Old Farmstead inspired? It took a lot of googling art work from this genre. When the last brushstroke finished on top, I was very pleased with how great this turned out. Thanks for challenging us, Cake Nation!

Phillies Cake

I've made several sports cakes, but this is the first Phillies cake. This happens to be from one of our favorite and most frequent cupcake customers. Thanks for the great order, Pat!

Wrestling Cake

Boys are great. They always challenge me. Like, I want a wrestling ring complete with wrestlers. So,yeah. I had to do a little looking before I found this set up. I liked making the birthday boys' name the logo on the middle of the mat. Overall, success!

John Deere Cake

I love that you all love the cakes we're making so much you're wanting one of your own. So, this cake is a remake of a cake we made about 2 weekends ago. Still cute - still fun. Just like you Cake Nation!

Giant Cupcake Cake

I really liked making this the first time, so I was just as thrilled the second time. I get to use about a pound of shimmer dust on the top alone. How could you not want to make that?! 

Sweet Circus Cake

This order was for an adorably themed circus birthday. I had a GREAT time working on this cake from hand drawing the little elephant to piping the little white polka dots on the red scalloping. Thanks for such an amazing order! 

Living Social Peeps!

Hello Living Social Peeps! Welcome to CH&L and thanks for snagging the deal. I'm sure you're wandering around the blogger page here wondering if there's a link to the real website. You're here. This is it. There are several tabs up top to help you out with pricing questions, flavors, and sizes.

The deal should be available for anyone who purchased today (Thursday) to redeem tomorrow and anyone who buys tomorrow (Friday) will be able to redeem on Saturday. You'll need to print out your voucher and bring it in to the shop with you to do your sweet shopping.

There are a few things to remember:
1. If you do not intend to spend the entire $20 Voucher amount in one purchase, you'll need to make sure to have a paper copy on hand. We will need to write and authorize your remaining amount on the original voucher so you can bring it back on your next visit.

2. The voucher is not good on any other specials or deals such as the 2 For Tuesday, Buy 4 Get 2, Holiday Packs, etc. Vouchers are only redeemable on regularly priced items.


3. Orders are subject to availability. With over 400 deals sold and another day still out there, we are booking up VERY fast on dates. Please call ahead and make sure we are open to accommodate your order. We are excited to bake for you, we just need to make sure we have the time.

4. You may only use one Voucher per person per visit per purchase. So, you cannot combine vouchers for large orders.

5. Vouchers cannot be used for wedding items such as cake stand rentals, wedding cakes, wedding cupcakes, wedding deposits, and/or tastings.

6. We are closed Sundays & Mondays.
