Merry Christmas, Cake Nation! We've spent the morning decking the halls here at the shop.

We also wanted to let you all know we just posted our holiday menu on the side over there. See that yummy goodness?! The Gingerbread is one of my favorites - because it's my recipe. Not that that sways me or anything. 

Also, we've got some holiday hours we thought you should know. We're closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in addition to our usual, Monday the 26th.  So, you'll need to grab your cupcakes and cakes before then. The 23rd we'll be open our usual hours.

Now, to end on something sweet, here are our Christmas 4 packs for this year. They are 1 Peppermint Stick, 1 Gingerbread, 1 Egg Nog, and 1 Cranberry Carrot Cake. All this sweetness for $8. 

Don't forget - check your list twice and call those cupcakes in ahead of time. We can have them boxed and waiting on you!

Small Business Saturday - how sweet it is! SHOP SMALL

LOVE LOVE LOVE this cake. Seriously, can it be my birthday cake? Just gorgeous. I love our brides. gorgeous girls with awesome taste.

Elegant White Wedding Cake

This cake was stunning. The bride had excellent taste. I absolutely love how this cake looked. Just gorgeous.

How fun is this one?? An iPhone cake? LOVE! The screen shot is one of the groom's actual phone. Is that Angry Birds I see?

Spun Sugar Wedding Cake

Cakers, I really like this one. I mean who wouldn't like golden spun sugar wrapped around their wedding cake and puffs of it topping their wedding cupcakes? Yeah, we thought so. 

Camera Cake

I thought this cake turned out GREAT! Especially the all edible camera on top! Hope you had a GREAT 16th Birthday, Jake!

Blue Dandelion Cake

This was a recreation of the top tier of one of our Cake Nation peeps' wedding cake. We were honored to be able to make their anniversary just a little sweeter!

Lego Cake

I love the creative ideas you guys have for us. A lego themed cake - pure awesomeness. We had a superb time putting this all together! Thanks, Cake Nation, for another great order!

Garden Baby Shower Cake

This cake was for one of our most loyal customers. They'd just found out they were having another baby - a little girl. We were lucky enough to be the only other ones besides them to know the gender. So, this cake isn't really a shower cake, but a gender reveal cake of sorts. This, Cake Nation, is why I love doing what I do. Congrats Beecrofts!

Confetti birthday Cake

We're addicted to pinterest at the shop. I swear if we have a few minutes, we're pinning. Literally hundreds of pins a day. Well, this was one of those pins. So, when we have customers come in and tell us that we can pick a theme, we go straight to our pinterest boards. This was one of those cakes. I think it turned out fabulous!

Football Themed Cakes

I really like sports themed cakes. So,  when we got this order, I was VERY happy! I love the colors and I think it turned out fantastic! Thanks for another awesome order, Cake Nation!

Harry Potter Cake

I've been dying to get my hands on a Harry Potter cake for a while now. This one had lots of fun details. Plus,   I got to use LOTS of Gold Luster Dust. SQUEE! Thanks again for another great order, Cakers!

Yellow & White Wedding Cake

I really liked this cake. It was for my cousin. It was made in Alabama. It is made with some of my favorite colors. It has fantasy flowers. It was the cake that helped welcome a really sweet Southern Belle in to our family. Thanks for allowing me to make this cake for you two and have a small part in your special day. That's the big finished piece for the birthday cake. It was so stinking adorable, we didn't get a picture of it. Cute cakes are very distracting, just so you know.

Want to know a perk of CH&L employees? Free cakes. Yup. This cake was for one of our Saturday Cupcake gals, Nicole, formerly known as one of my best cake customers. Didn't it turn out AWESOME!?

Orchid Wedding Order

Gorgeous brides and gorgeous orders. This is the tough life of a CH&L Baker. We get to meet with the most creative and sweet brides a cake shop could ask for. This order was no exception. I simply adore orchids and I am thrilled with how this turned out!
