Sometimes as a cake maker I get so caught up in fondant and colors and all the things that go in to one of the traditional type of CH&L cakes. So, when I got this order from one of my regular customers, I was a little hesitant at first. I mean, hello, where was the skill in this. BOY OH BOY - was I ever knocked down to size by this chocolate piece. Have you ever tried to make really long and tall chocolate curls? Yeah, not really as effortless as they seem to look. At all. The end product was so dramatic and it smelled like a chocolate dream. Happy Anniversary Erinne and Gerry!
